Program:        James Madison: The 4th President of the United States and considered the "Father of the Constitution."

                        **Our meeting day September 17th is Constitution Day and Constitution Week!

October 9, 2022 Docent for a Day at Christian Waldschmidt homestead

 

OCTOBER  15, 2022 

Theme:            Education, Patriotism

Program:         NSDAR Day of Service/Community Outreach

Speaker:         Jim Sears, Director of the Christian Help Center (CHC) in Batavia will share their community services and                             our members will be asked to bring items to support Thanksgiving drive for families supported by CHC.  

                         Thank you and holiday cards for active military will be signed and Items be collected for local veterans .

October 16, 2022 Fall Event at the Christian Waldschmidt Homestead

NOVEMBER  19, 2022 

Theme:            Patriotism, Education, Historic Preservation

Program:        Yellowstone at 150:  In 2022, Yellowstone National Park celebrated 150 years as being the first National

                         Park. presentation thru US. Pictures and History will be shared of this unique and beautiful land                                           preserved  for all.

November 27, 2022 Decorate  for Christmas Open house at the Homestead

 

December 3 & 4, 2022 Christmas at the Homestead Open House 1:00 -5:00 PM

DECEMBER 10, 2022    

Theme:          Education, Historic Preservation, Patriotism   

Program:       Turpin Indian Mounds:  Debby will present the history and preservation of the Indian burial mounds near                             Newtown Ohio and share the relationship of the Revolutionary family living on land to some members of                              our  chapter.

DECEMBER 17, 2022           Wreaths Across America Day -  Spring Grove Cemetery-Cincinnati, Ohio

Program:        Famous Women of Cincinnati - The Cincinnati Museum Center will discuss famous women and their                                    contributions to the Cincinnati history and displays at the museum.

MARCH 23-26, 2023                  OSDAR State Conference in Columbus, Ohio.

April 16, 2023

Program:       "Scrapbook of our Patriots" -  Patriots of Our Clough Valley Chapter Members  

Speaker:         Cindy Abbott will present her patriot, continuing the tradition of our chapter.

May 3, 2023

Theme:            Historic Preservation, Patriotism, Education

Program:         Field trip to the Tri-State Warbird Museum in Clermont County for tour and view displays of eleven WW II                             aircraft and are a blue star history museum

Speaker:          Docent Warbird Museum

MAY 20, 2023   

Theme:            Historic Preservation, Education, Patriotism

Program:         Virginia Military District-Gary Nichols from the Harmony Hill Museum in Williamsburg will speak about                               General William Lytle and the Virginia Military District

JUNE  17, 2023

Program:         DAR Members Education: Janet will speak about the free members leadership courses from DAR and                                  advantages of the knowledge and education on DAR in history, historic preservation and patriotism.
